Housewife Found Dead in Nowgaon, Husband Detained
Nowgaon: Police recovered the body of a housewife, Anjum Nure Aaisha (17), from her residence in Halud Bihar village of Badalgachhi sub-district on Sunday (April 21st) afternoon. The woman’s husband has been detained for questioning in connection with the incident.
Police said they reached the scene after being informed by locals about the housewife’s death. They recovered the body and took it to the police station. Marks were found on the deceased’s neck during recovery.
Preliminary investigations suggest she died of strangulation. The body has been sent to the morgue of Nowgaon Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after the autopsy report is available.
The deceased’s husband, Imran Hossain, has been detained for questioning in connection with the incident.
