Inter-district Motorcycle Theft Ring Mastermind Arrested in Pirojpur!
Pirojpur: Police raided and arrested Selim Khan, the mastermind behind an inter-district motorcycle theft ring. A stolen motorcycle was also recovered from his possession.
Incident Details:
On March 19th, a motorcycle belonging to Mainur Islam was stolen from Padderhat Road in Pirojpur city.Following the incident, Mainur Islam filed a case with Pirojpur Sadar Police Station.With the help of CCTV footage and information technology, the police identified two thieves.On March 28th, DB police arrested Badsha Farazi from Savar, Dhaka, who was involved in the motorcycle theft.Based on information provided by Badsha Farazi, DB police arrested Selim Khan from Rupganj, Narayanganj on Friday.Selim Khan is the son of Gaffar Khan from Shahspur area under Rupganj Police Station, Narayanganj district. Acting on his information, another stolen motorcycle was recovered from Jera Raban Bypass area, Tangail district.
Accusations Against the Accused:
- Selim Khan has multiple cases against him in various police stations across the country, including Dhaka, Manikganj, Sirajganj, Narayanganj, Magura, and Bagherhat.
- He was involved in criminal activities like drug trafficking using stolen motorcycles.
