Parimani, the popular film star, is now in Tollywood!
Dhaka: Popular actress Parimoni recently returned home after a trip to Kolkata. While there, she spoke to the media and addressed rumors about her personal life. However, amidst all the talk, Parimoni surprised everyone by announcing her role in a new Bengali film.
She will be starring in a movie titled ‘Feluda Bakshi’. This is her first full-fledged Tollywood film, although she has previously collaborated on joint productions. The film will be directed by Debaraja Sinha.
Parimoni in a Mysterious Role
Sources reveal that the shooting of the film is scheduled to begin on March 26th (Tuesday) in Kolkata. Parimoni will be playing the role of Labony, a mysterious character. Before the shoot commences, she will be attending a five-day grooming class. Sohum Chakraborty will be seen opposite Parimoni in the film.
Longing to Work in Tollywood Films
Parimoni shared that she has always admired working in Kolkata’s film industry. “I’ve felt that their work is very organized,” she said. “There’s a great work journey before and after shooting, which results in a beautifully finished film. I’m leaving for Kolkata next week for the film’s shoot. In between, I’ll also be shooting for a commercial there.”

The film ‘Feluda Bakshi’ is being produced by Aritra Das. Debaraja Sinha has previously directed films like ‘Bojhena Se Bojhna’, ‘Challenge 2’, ‘Golapi Mukta Rahasya’, ‘Byomkesh’, ‘Sherdil’, ‘Aranyadeb’, ‘Kishore Kumarer Jonmodin’, ‘Kathmandu’, ‘Tentulaler Biye’, ‘Nawab’, etc. (Please note that the repeated mentions of previous films seem like a mistake in the original text).
