English Club Election at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University : Vice President Imran, General Secretary Faiz

Imran Hossain has been elected as Vice President and Mohammad Faiz as General Secretary in the English Club of HSTU elections at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) in Dinajpur.
Voting was held at the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam building from 10:30 am to 2 pm on Thursday (September 18). Thirteen candidates contested for a total of six posts, including the Vice President and General Secretary. At 4:30 pm, Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Nowsher announced the results.
As a result, Imran Hossain was elected as Vice President with 175 votes, Mohammad Faiz as General Secretary with 179 votes, Mohammad Sajeeb as Organizing Secretary with 195 votes, Tanjim as Sports Secretary with 180 votes, Mahbub as Information and Technology Secretary with 201 votes, and Moonmoon as Assistant Registrar with 195 votes.
After being elected as Vice President, Imran Hossain said, “Thank you to everyone in the English Department for trusting me. I will repay that trust by fulfilling my responsibilities properly.”
General Secretary Mohammad Faiz said, “I want to take the English Department further forward with everyone by implementing my election manifesto.”
Regarding the election arrangements, Chairman of the English Department, Professor Dr. Deepak Kumar Sarkar said that the election was conducted smoothly in a festive environment. He thanked everyone concerned for the success of the arrangement with the cooperation of the students.
