Inauguration of Science and Technology Week Fair in Niamatpur, Naogaon

The 46th National Science and Technology Week and Science Fair have been inaugurated in Niamatpur, Naogaon. Under the theme “Victory through Knowledge and Science, We Will Be the Best Worldwide,” a grand rally led by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) paraded through the key roads of the upazila.

Nineteen stalls from various secondary schools, colleges, and madrasas of the upazila participated in the fair. This year’s Science and Technology Week will conclude tomorrow, Tuesday, with a closing ceremony. During the discussion session, guests urged students to develop themselves in the light of science to contribute to building the future of Bangladesh.

Organized by the Upazila Administration, the Science and Technology Week Fair was inaugurated by the chief guest, UNO Mehedi Hasan, on Monday (January 13) at 11 a.m. in the Upazila Parishad premises.

Among other distinguished guests present were Government Commissioner (Land) Rezaul Karim, Officer-in-Charge of the police station Ahsan Habib, Agriculture Officer Kamrul Hasan, Upazila Engineer Zahidul Islam, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Enamul Haque, Rural Electrification DGM Mosaddiqur Rahman, along with officials from various departments, headteachers/science teachers, students, and local journalists.
