Tree Plantation Campaign Held in Rampal Led by Student Leader Sardar Nadim Mahmud Shuvo

On June 11 at 11:00 AM, a tree plantation campaign was organized in Rampal Upazila, Bagerhat, led by Sardar Nadim Mahmud Shuvo — a prominent leader of the July Movement, former Central Joint Coordinator, and Joint Secretary of the Bangladesh Democratic Student Union (Dhaka University unit).

Joining him in this green initiative were several notable figures, including Solaiman Hossain Rahat, Joint Secretary of the Khulna Metropolitan Anti-Discrimination Student Movement; Md. Shahjalal Gazi, General Secretary of Rampal Press Club; student leader Moin Sheikh from the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal (Rampal unit); Salauddin Ahmed Sami, organizer of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (Bagerhat district); Tayeb Noor, student leader of the July Movement in Rampal; Ashik Farazi, member of The Red July (Bagerhat district); and Masum Billah, Noor Jamal Sheikh, Apu Hasan, and Jihad Islam — all active organizers and student leaders from various platforms.

Tree plantation activities were carried out at key locations in Rampal, including the Rampal Police Station, Rampal Ferry Terminal, Rampal Government College, Rampal Model Mosque, and Srifoltola Pilot Secondary School.

During the event, Sardar Nadim Mahmud Shuvo emphasized the importance of tree plantation and urged everyone to contribute to environmental preservation. He announced that a tree plantation campaign will be held every month as part of their ongoing commitment to ecological sustainability.
