Training for Fish Farmers Conducted by ASA in Naogaon

A day-long training workshop for fish farmers was organized by ASA in Naogaon. The event was graced by the presence of the Assistant Director (Fisheries) of ASA’s central office in Dhaka, Sabuj Kumar Chowdhury, as the chief guest.
The workshop, held on Monday, December 9, at the hall of the Patnitala Upazila Agricultural Extension Office, trained a total of 90 fish farmers from 11 upazilas of Naogaon, divided into three batches.
The event was presided over by ASA District Manager Mamun-ur-Rashid and moderated by Naogaon District Senior Regional Manager (Agriculture) Saifuddin. The training sessions were conducted by Naogaon District Fisheries Officer Md. Ferdous Ali.
Other notable attendees included Patnitala Upazila Fisheries Extension Officer Mohsina Parveen, ASA’s Nazipur Regional Senior Manager Shamim Hossain, and ASA’s Nazipur Branch Senior Manager Kamruzzaman Sardar.
In their speeches, the chief guests highlighted ASA’s commitment to providing training and technical support not only in fish farming but also in various other sectors, benefiting both ASA members and aspiring entrepreneurs beyond the organization. They assured participants that such initiatives would continue in the future.
The speakers also urged the trainees to effectively implement the knowledge gained from the training sessions in the field.
