Dhaka: The weather department has informed that the seasonal low pressure is currently prevailing over the South Bay of Bengal. Due to this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Dhaka and five other divisions of the country.

Where rain is likely:

• Friday (March 15): Temporary rain or thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible in a few places in Cumilla and Noakhali districts of Chittagong division, as well as Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions.
• Saturday (March 16): Temporary rain or thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible in a few places in Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka divisions.

Temperature:

• The temperature may increase slightly throughout the country.
• Saturday night and Sunday (March 17): Daytime temperature may increase slightly.
• Next 5 days: Daytime temperature may rise further during the first half of this period.

Details: Tetulia, Panchagarh: The lowest temperature in the country on Thursday (March 14) was recorded at 14.7 degrees Celsius. Rajshahi: The highest temperature in the country on Thursday (March 14) was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius. Dhaka: The minimum and maximum temperatures in Dhaka on Thursday (March 14) were 24.5 degrees Celsius and 31.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
