Terrorists arrested with domestic guns

Lama, April 26:

This afternoon, locals in Lama apprehended a terrorist with a country-made gun in Naikhongmukh Rajapara, Rupshipara Union.

According to local sources, three armed terrorists attempted to extort money from shopkeepers at the Naikhongmukh bazaar today.

The locals united and surrounded the terrorists. While two terrorists managed to escape, Jewel Tripura (28), a young man from the Tripura community, was apprehended with a single-barreled country-made gun.

The locals handed over the detainee to the army.

This incident has caused panic among the residents of the area. They have urged the administration to take swift action.
