“Teenager’s Bathing Video Sparks Extortion Attempt in Bagerhat”
In a shocking incident in Fakirhat, Bagerhat, a teenager, a student of eighth grade in a local madrasa, became the victim of an extortion attempt after a video of her bathing was allegedly captured. The father of the teenager discovered a packet left outside their house one night when his daughter was not at home. Upon opening the packet, he found a handwritten note along with a memory card. Concerned, the father reported the incident to the local authorities. The police promptly arrested a suspect identified as Ahid Morol, a 28-year-old resident of Hogladanga village, known for his work as a day laborer in the area.
The father acknowledged that the contents of the video were related to his daughter’s bathing, and he consented to the police investigation.
