The final match of the tournament was held on September 30, 2025 at Naogaon District Stadium. Soumik Ahmed scored the highest runs in the entire tournament, playing the fewest matches. For this, he was awarded the highest run scorer of the tournament. Considering the overall performance of the tournament, he was awarded the Man of the Tournament award and the Man of the Final trophy. The award distribution ceremony was attended by former national footballer and member of the District Sports Association Enamul Haque, member of the District Sports Association and social worker Abul Kalam Azad, senior youth organizer Fazlul Haque Khan, sports organizer Shahraj Alam Soni and sports secretary of Naogaon District Bar Association Advocate Sabbir Ahmed. The ceremony was presided over by Cricketsia Youth Foundation President Sohag Gaziul.
Soumik Ahmed said, “I have been fortunate enough to be the best player of the tournament, the highest run scorer of the tournament and the man of the match in the cricket tournament. This is not just a recognition, but also an inspiration to take my long-standing hard work, patience and indomitable desire one step further.
The experience of playing regularly in the age-based U-14, U-16 and U-18 and divisional level teams of Naogaon district has laid the foundation for my cricket career. In addition, participating in various national-level cricket camps has made me more mature and confident.
In this journey of mine, the Department of Physical Education of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has always been by my side and has given me guidance and motivation. Without their support, I would not have been able to reach this stage today.
I believe that hard work, confidence and right guidance take a player forward on the path to fulfilling his dreams. Cricket is my dream, and I am trying my best to make that dream a reality. I hope that in the future too, I will be able to represent my university, district and country with pride.”
