Dhaka: Tickets for Shakib Khan’s upcoming Eid release “Rajkumar” have flown off the shelves even before the film hits the theaters. According to the Star Cineplex website, all tickets for the first two days of Eid at their Bashundhara City, Dhanmondi, Mirpur, Chittagong, and Rajshahi branches are sold out.
Producer’s Optimism:
The film’s producer, Aresh Adnan, is confident that “Rajkumar” will win the hearts of the audience. He said, “All tickets for ‘Rajkumar’ are sold out for the first two days of Eid. We believe the audience will embrace ‘Rajkumar’ from the very first show on the first day of release.”
Widespread Response:
“Rajkumar” is releasing in 126 theaters across the country. It reportedly secured a record rental deal, occupying three out of four theaters among 212 available ones. This has resulted in the production company receiving crores of taka in booking money.
Shakib’s Message:
Shakib Khan shared a video message on his Facebook page ahead of the release of “Rajkumar.” He said, “‘Rajkumar’ is the name of an emotion. May ‘Rajkumar’ not only resonate with our nation but also with Bengali speakers across the world.”
