“Safe Water and Support: World Vision Brings Hope to Rampal”

World Vision Bangladesh has inaugurated a mini pipeline and distributed cash support to families of children in Rampal, Bagerhat.
The program was held on Thursday (August 7) in Rajnagar Union, organized by the Rampal Area Office of World Vision.
The event’s chief guest, Mr. Ahmed Kamrul Hasan, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Bagerhat, formally inaugurated the mini pipeline and handed over cash grants to the children.
In his speech, the Deputy Commissioner said:
“Previously, people faced challenges due to the lack of access to safe water. With the installation of this pipeline, families will now have easy access to clean water, reducing health risks and improving hygiene and well-being. Water is life—every drop matters.”
The event was chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ms. Tamanna Ferdousi. The program was conducted by Mr. Liton Mondol, Senior Manager of World Vision Bangladesh, Rampal Area Program.

Notably, World Vision Bangladesh has installed mini pipelines across four unions in Rampal. In addition, in Rajnagar Union, each family received BDT 8,000 in cash assistance to help children escape child labor and return to education.
The initiative brought joy to the children and the local community, who expressed gratitude for the water and financial support.
