Reunion of Former RU Students in Nachole

A reunion of the 1999–2000 academic session students of the Department of Islamic History and Culture, Rajshahi University, was held in Nachole upazila of Chapainawabganj.
The event took place on Saturday (August 16) at the Ila Mitra Memorial Museum in Raytara village, a historic site of the Tebhaga Movement. After almost 20 years, former classmates from different districts across the country gathered, creating an emotional atmosphere.
Many of the participants are now serving in important positions, including professors at Rajshahi New Govt. Degree College, administrative officers at RUET, primary education officers, and bankers. The reunion program was conducted by Md. Helal Uddin, General Secretary of the Human Rights Organization Nachole branch and a journalist.
As part of the program, they visited several tourist attractions in Nachole, including Uzirpur Dargah, Kolihar Rajbari, and Elaipur Central Jame Mosque.
The day ended with an emotional farewell, where many could not hold back their tears.
