Private Car Plunges into Ditch in Palashbari, Two Injured

A private car traveling from Dhaka to Gaibandha veered off course and plunged into a ditch this morning on the Palashbari-Gaibandha regional highway near Dholbhanga Majhipara. The driver and one passenger were injured in the incident.
According to initial reports, the car was traveling from Dhaka to Gaibandha. Upon reaching Dholbhanga Majhipara, it suddenly lost control and swerved into a ditch. The car’s driver and a passenger sustained injuries and were rushed to a local hospital.
Locals reported that the road in that area is in a poor state of repair. The rain has further worsened the road conditions, making it slippery. It is believed that the car lost control and skidded into the ditch due to the poor road conditions.
