National Social Services Day Observed in Rampal, Bagerhat

On the occasion of National Social Services Day, Rampal Upazila Administration, in collaboration with the Upazila Social Services Office, organized a colorful rally followed by a discussion session.

Under the theme, “Technology and Compassion, Welfare and Equality, Trust in Social Services Today”, the rally took place on Saturday morning, January 3, culminating in a discussion at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium. The session was presided over by Assistant Commissioner (Land), Mr. Abhijit Chakraborty.

The program was conducted by Upazila Social Services Officer Md. Shahinur Rahman. Among the speakers was Rampal Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun.

Also present at the event were Upazila Public Health Engineer Md. Imran Hossain, Rampal Press Club President Fakir Atiar Rahman, and journalists Sheikh Masum Billah and Md. Akash Uzzaman Sheikh, among others.

During the program, 50 blankets were distributed among elderly and disabled residents in various parts of the Upazila to help them stay warm during the winter.
