Mithun Chakraborty: Admitted to ICU after Stroke

Renowned actor Mithun Chakraborty was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in Kolkata after suffering a stroke on Saturday (February 10). A pall of gloom has descended upon the entertainment world of Bangladesh and India.
The 74-year-old Mithun was busy with the shooting of the film “Shastri”. On Friday night (February 9), he suddenly fell ill.
He was immediately taken to the hospital. The MRI examination revealed that Mithun has a blood clot in a part of his brain.

Doctors have stated that Mithun’s condition is stable, but he is under strict observation. Mithun’s wife Yogita Bali and son Mihos Chakraborty are by his side at the hospital. Many in the entertainment world have expressed wishes for Mithun’s speedy recovery.
Mithun Chakraborty is a popular actor, producer, and television personality.
Mithun has won the National Film Award thrice and has been awarded the Filmfare Award four times.
In 2004, he was conferred with the Padma Shri by the Indian government, and in 2016, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan.
