Meeting Between New Upazila Executive Officer and Journalists

A discussion meeting was organized by the administration in Jagannathpur, bringing together journalists from local print and electronic media. The event was held on Wednesday, December 4, at 11:00 AM, in the conference room of the Jagannathpur Upazila Parishad. The meeting was chaired by the newly appointed Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) of Jagannathpur, Md. Barkat Ullah.
Prominent speakers included Wahidur Rahman, President of the Jagannathpur Upazila Press Club and a senior journalist; Zahurul Islam Lal, senior journalist; Mirzahan Mizan, Vice-President of the Press Club; Md. Shahjahan Mia, General Secretary of the Press Club; and journalists Riaz Rahman, Abdul Wahid, Fakhrul Islam (Technology and Information Secretary of the Press Club), SM Farid, Humayun Kabir Faridi, Golam Sarwar, Ali Hossain Khan, and Mukim Uddin. Press Club members Taiyabur Rahman, Shah Fuzayel Ahmed, and journalist Al Amin Islam were also present. Other attendees included Yakub Mia, Press Club member Ali Zahur, Bapon Dutta, and journalist Shah Alam Chowdhury.
During the meeting, journalists highlighted various issues facing Jagannathpur Upazila. In response, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Barkat Ullah assured them that steps would be taken to address these problems.
