Medical Reports Distributed to Selected Police Constables in Sunamganj

Medical reports have been provided to 72 candidates who were finally selected for the position of police constable in Sunamganj. The distribution took place on Thursday at 3 PM in the conference hall of Sunamganj Police Lines.
Earlier, during a press briefing, Superintendent of Police (SP) AFM Anwar Hossain Khan stated that out of 2,510 job applicants, 72 candidates were selected for constable positions through a rigorous selection process. Among them, two were selected under the freedom fighter quota and one under the small ethnic community quota. Additionally, 13 candidates were placed on a waiting list.
SP Anwar Hossain Khan further remarked that the police force has been dealing with mental trauma since the incident on August 5, and recovery will take time. However, significant improvements in law and order have already been achieved, including the cessation of illegal sand dredging in various areas of Sunamganj.
Among the newly appointed constables, Shamim Ahmed Sani from Narayantola Mission High School in Sunamganj Sadar Upazila and Sharmila Akter from Jamalganj shared their thoughts during the event.
