Gaibandha, April 16: Yesterday, on April 15, 2024, a grand public reception was held for the Honorable Member of Parliament and leader of the permanent committee on local government, Mr. Shah Sarwar Kabir MP, at Union No. 5, Ballamjhadi, Gaibandha Sadar.
Speaking as the chief guest, the Honorable MP and leader Mr. Shah Sarwar Kabir assured that he would expedite the development work in Gaibandha by coordinating with every ministry in Bangladesh. He emphasized on paying special attention to ensure that the people of Gaibandha can enjoy the fruits of development. He pledged to undertake development projects such as schools, bridges, culverts, road maintenance, and embankments, including the Balsighat panel.
Special guest, Liberation War hero Mr. Mojammel Hossain Mondal, former chairman of Ballamjhadi Union Parishad and general secretary of Gaibandha district Awami League, expressed demands for development in Ballamjhadi Union to the Honorable MP.
The event was chaired by Mr. Moniruzzaman Monir, general secretary of the youth league Ballamjhadi Union branch, and presided over by Mr. Julfikar Rahman, chairman of Union Parishad No. 5, Ballamjhadi.
At the end of the discussion, everyone expressed their appreciation to the Honorable MP with floral tributes.
Following the reception, a cultural event commenced. Artists including ATN star Rejowan and Dariapur Live TV’s actor Ranju performed songs along with many other singers and performers.
