Livestock Exhibition 2024 at Jagannathpur of Sunamganj District
Shah Fujaile Ahmad is the representative of Jagannathpur Upazila.
At an event organized by the Upazila administration under the chairmanship of Al Bashirul Islam, the Upazila Livestock Officer, and the Jagannathpur Upazila Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Mohammad Khaled Saifullah, former Planning Minister, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, there is no one more compassionate towards the people. He praised the government’s efforts to transform villages into cities and emphasized the need to advance rural communities in education and science.
Former Minister Alhajj M.A. Mannan stated that development has occurred and will continue to take place in Jagannathpur, Shantiganj, and Sunamganj. He commended the display of livestock at the Upazila Livestock Exhibition and highlighted the potential for creating employment opportunities for unemployed youth through animal husbandry. He expressed gratitude to the organizers of the livestock exhibition. Also present at the event were Jagannathpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Aminul, political leaders Siddiq Ahmed, Upazila Chairman Nurul Islam, Vice-Chairmen Abul Hossain Lalon and Sufia Khanam Sathi, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Rezaul Karim Riju, former Upazila Awami League member Akmal Khan, former Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Lutfur Rahman, Upazila Jubo League President Kamal Uddin, Vice-President Delwar Hossain, former Upazila Chhatra League President Saifur Rahman Sani, Upazila Chhatra League President Abdul Mukit, Upazila Chhatra League General Secretary Taha Ahmed, and student leader Shayek Ahmed. Members of various print media and law enforcement agencies were also present.
