Inauguration of Shonkarpasha School Jame Mosque

Today, Friday (Jumu’ah Day), the inauguration of the Shonkarpasha School Jame Mosque in the Nalchity Municipality area took place. The mosque was inaugurated through the Jumu’ah prayer, attended by over 400 worshippers.

The mosque, built with foreign assistance, received special contributions from Humayun Kabir, Kazi Jahangir Hossain, and Abul Hossain Alo of Surjapasha.

Previously, there was a small mosque for students on the Shonkarpasha School premises, built on land donated by the late Abdul Malek Sikder. With the inauguration of the new mosque, a more spacious and beautiful environment for prayer has been created for the local worshippers.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by local worshippers as well as people from various walks of life.
