“The latest weather forecast in Bangladesh, released on January 24, indicates anticipated changes in the winter weather pattern with a shift towards milder conditions. From January 25, there might be a temporary increase in temperature, leading to a mild winter trend across the country. However, it is expected that temperatures will decrease again in the following days.

In terms of precipitation, light rainfall or drizzles are expected in parts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions, while other regions might experience dry weather. The weather forecast suggests that these conditions may persist, with the possibility of a shift towards denser fog and mist from midnight to morning. This could potentially impact air and water transportation, causing disruptions.

On January 24, the minimum temperature recorded in Panchagarh was 8.4 degrees Celsius, indicating a milder winter. If the minimum temperature remains between 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, it is considered conducive to mild winter conditions, while temperatures between 6 to 8 degrees Celsius indicate moderate cold.

The weather expert, Hafizur Rahman, suggests that the current trend might continue for the next two days, after which temperatures are expected to decrease. He also points out that the month of January could see fluctuations in winter severity.

Looking ahead, the weather forecast for January 25 and 26 mentions the possibility of light rainfall or drizzles in parts of Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Other regions might experience dry weather during the day, but there could be a shift to moderate to dense fog and mist overnight, potentially causing disruptions in air, water, and road transportation.

As the weather conditions evolve over the next five days, there is a possibility of precipitation, including rain and thunderstorms. It is advised to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts for accurate information on temperature changes, precipitation, and overall weather conditions.”
