For the sick person Read that prayer!
Here are a few supplications (dua) narrated from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for a sick person, along with their translations:
**1. “Az-hab il-ba’sa Rabb an-naas, washfi anta ash-Shaafi, la shafiya illa shifauk, shifaa’an la yughaadiru saqama.”
Translation: “O Allah, the Lord of mankind, remove the hardship and bring about healing, as You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.”
**2. “Allahumma ashfini, la shafiya illa anta.”
Translation: “O Allah, grant me healing. There is no healer except You.”
**3. “Allahumma inni abduka, wa ibnu abdika, wa ma’buduka, inni asaabatu ma kaana minni fi sabilillah, wa asaabatu ma kaana minni fi ghairi sabilillah, fa ashfini, wa afini, wa afini.”
Translation: “O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, and Your worshipper. I seek forgiveness for what I have done in Your path and what I have done not in Your path, so heal me, forgive me, and pardon me.”
**4. “Allahumma inni asaabatu ma kaana minni fi sabilillah, wa asaabatu ma kaana minni fi ghairi sabilillah, fa ashfini, wa afini, wa afini.”
Translation: “O Allah, I seek forgiveness for what I have done in Your path and what I have done not in Your path, so heal me, forgive me, and pardon me.”
**5. “Allahumma inni abduka, wa ibnu abdika, wa ma’buduka, inni asaabatu ma kaana minni fi sabilillah, wa asaabatu ma kaana minni fi ghairi sabilillah, fa ashfini, wa afini, wa afini.”
