Flying Drones Without Permission Prohibited

According to a press release from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) published on Monday (January 15), operating drones, remote piloted aircraft, and remote-controlled flying toys in the country’s airspace requires prior permission from the aviation authorities. The notice states that interested individuals must submit a form on the aviation authority’s website at least 45 days before using unmanned aerial vehicles.

It further mentions an increasing trend of using laser beams or high-power torch lights towards aircraft and helicopters in airport and aviation regions. In the interest of aviation safety, everyone in the aviation zone is urged to refrain from flying kites, drones, and other flying objects and avoid the use of laser beams and high-power torch lights.
