Death due to Corona after 11 days
Another person has died from the coronavirus in the country after March 8th. The death occurred between 8:00 a.m. on Monday (March 18) and 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday (March 19), as reported in a press release from the Health Department.
According to the press release, the deceased was a male aged between 41 and 50. He resided in Mymensingh.
At this time, antigen tests and sample examinations have been conducted at government health facilities. A total of 602 samples have been tested, with 31 individuals testing positive for Corona. The confirmation rate is 5.15% per 100 samples.
According to the Health Department, since the onset of COVID-19 in the country, a total of 2,049,219 individuals have tested positive for the virus. Among them, 29,493 have died. So far, the confirmation rate is 13.7%, and the mortality rate is 1.44%.
