Chittagong residential hotel raid, 11 arrested
Chittagong: Police have arrested 11 individuals in a crackdown on anti-social activities in various residential hotels. From Thursday morning to night, raids were conducted in several hotels under the jurisdiction of Kotwali Police Station, leading to the arrests.
On Friday evening, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Obaidul Haque of Kotwali Police Station confirmed the information.
Reason for the Operation:
OC Obaidul Haque stated, “We are conducting this operation to preserve the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan. Our operation continues daily. We aim to keep people away from anti-social activities.”
Action against the Arrestees:
Non-First Information Reports (Non-FIRs) have been filed against the arrestees at Kotwali Police Station.
