BNP Workers’ Meeting Held in Jagannathpur

A workers’ meeting of the BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) was held in Jagannathpur, Sunamganj. Organized by the Upazila and Municipal BNP, the event took place on Thursday, December 12, at 11 AM in the field adjacent to Hazeera Market on Raniganj Road.
The meeting was chaired by Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milon, Convenor of Sunamganj District BNP. The chief guest was Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury Mizan, Member of the BNP National Executive Committee and member of the Sunamganj District BNP Convening Committee.
During his speech, he stated that the BNP committee in Jagannathpur would be formed with dedicated and genuine BNP members, ensuring no favoritism. He emphasized that those who have made sacrifices for the party, endured persecution, or faced lawsuits and attacks, would be prioritized in forming committees at the Upazila, Union, and Ward levels. He highlighted that Jagannathpur’s committee would become the most robust among the 16 units of Sunamganj. He called for recognition of the dedicated members to transform “Jagannathpur’s soil into a BNP stronghold.”
Party workers urged the formation of committees with competent, clean, and devoted BNP members, ensuring that loyal contributors are not overlooked.
The meeting was conducted by Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul, a member of the Sunamganj District BNP Convening Committee. The program commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Maulana Dabirul Islam.
