Badminton Tournament Final Held in Hakimpur

A badminton tournament final was held in the picturesque surroundings of the traditional Nabaron Library and Club in the Hili Hakimpur municipal town of Dinajpur on a chilly winter night. In the game, the winners were Hasib and Siddan from Ward 4 of the municipality, while Raju and Sanowar from Ward 3 became the runners-up.
On Friday (January 17) at 8:15 PM, the final match of the badminton tournament was inaugurated at the Nabaron Library and Club premises by the president of the institution, Sushanta Kumar, and the general secretary, Javed Hossain (Russell).
Also present at the event were members of the institution including Babul Hossain, Abdul Matin, Ashraful Mallik, Swapan, Saju, Rafi, and other distinguished guests.
In the final match of the badminton tournament, the double team of Hasib and Siddan from Ward 4 defeated Raju and Sanowar from Ward 3 to become the champions.
Javed Hossain Russell, the general secretary of the Nabaron Library and Club, mentioned, “Hakimpur Hili is a border town, and the threat of drugs is higher here. Therefore, to keep the youth away from drugs and bring extra joy to the game lovers of the municipal town on winter nights, this badminton tournament is organized every year.”
After the game, the champions and runners-up teams were awarded trophies by the distinguished guests.
