Unfavorable Weather Conditions Predicted in 22 Districts Across the Country

The meteorological office has issued distressing news regarding the natural weather patterns, with a particular focus on the seasonal low-pressure system prevailing over the southern Bay of Bengal. An additional segment extends to the northern Bay of Bengal. According to the meteorological office, this condition might persist over 22 districts spanning five divisions of the country, leading to continuous light to moderate rainfall.

As of Saturday (January 27), from 9 AM onwards, the weather forecast indicates that a mild to moderate cold wave might affect parts of the country, specifically in Kishoreganj, Gopalganj, Maulvibazar, Jessore, Kushtia, and Chuadanga districts. This wave may potentially continue unabated.
Meteorologist Mr. Omar Faruk, in a signed press release, stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate fog affecting these districts, including Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions. The lowest recorded temperature in the country was 7.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia, Panchagarh, on Saturday. Additionally, the following areas have recorded temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius: Jessore, Chuadanga, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Bogura, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Nelfamari’s Syedpur, and Dimla in Kurigram. Meanwhile, Dhaka recorded the lowest temperature of 13 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological office suggests that the daytime temperature may remain unchanged, while the nighttime temperature could slightly increase over the next few days. However, there is a likelihood of an increase in fog from midnight to morning. Moreover, the weather might remain dry and cloudy until Tuesday morning (January 30), followed by a gradual rise in temperatures and occasional rainfall in the upcoming five days.
