7th grade student pregnant in rape
In the Upazila of Dumki in Patuakhali district, an allegation of rape has surfaced involving a teenage girl in the village of Dakshin Dumki, which occurred eight months ago. According to the allegation, a case of rape has been filed against Dulal Khandakar (37), a neighbor, who is accused of committing the crime.
Following the incident, Dulal was charged and arrested by the Dumki Police Station and detained by RAB.
According to journalists’ information, the accused Dulal Khandakar is the son of Barek Khandakar from Ward No. 2 of the Shreerampur Union in the upazila. He is the father of three children.
An investigation has been launched against the accused Dulal, and he has been sent to jail.
According to detailed information, it is alleged that the accused Dulal confessed to the crime after eight months. After this incident, the accused has been granted bail.
The father of the girl, seeking proper justice against accused Dulal, tearfully said, “My daughter has no mother, her elderly grandmother is hard of hearing and cannot see. I am Kabir, driving a car, I am out. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Dulal has harmed my daughter, I want appropriate punishment for him.”
Officer-in-charge Tarek Mohammad Hannon of Dumki Police Station assured that the truth of the incident would be established and appropriate action would be taken against the accused Dulal.
