57th World Ijtema: First Phase Ends, Ground Handover for Second Phase

Gazipur: The first phase of the 57th World Ijtema concluded on Tuesday, February 6, with the formal handover of the venue and equipment to the organizers of the second phase at noon.

Handover Ceremony:

• Time: February 6, 2 PM
• Location: Central Coordination Center of World Ijtema-2024
• Present:
  • Top leaders of the first phase
  • Top leaders of the second phase
  • Gazipur District Administrator Abul Fateh Mohammad Sifikul Islam
  • Other officials and Muslims

Proceedings:

• First, the organizers of the first phase handed over the list of venue and equipment to the District Administrator.
• Then, the District Administrator handed over the venue and equipment to the organizers of the second phase.

Speeches:

• District Administrator: “The ground handover process was completed peacefully. We received the entire ground in good condition, except for some minor shortcomings.”
• Top leader of the second phase: “Alhamdulillah, we have received the ground. There are some minor problems. We will solve them with the help of the administration.”
